2012 Artlife winter courses now open for enrolments!
ArtLife classes for winter 2012 will kick off on Sunday 13 May with exciting new season workshops! Fabulous new courses include intorduction to massage, style make-over, hair-make-over, flower arranging and computing for the terrified. Other classes include the popular digital photography for beginners, adobe photoshop and intorduction to welding . Times and dates can be found on the current courses page.
About ArtLife
In July 2011, Vocational Training and Education Centre (VTEC) launched ArtLife: Centre for Community Arts and Lifestyle Courses. The centre is aimed at providing the Kalgoorlie community with a place to discover and develop their creativity, learn new skills and meet new friends in the process. ArtLife classes are held in VTEC’s art and design studios on MacDonald Street, where students have the opportunity to use quality equipment while learning new skills from passionate, talented tutors.
ArtLife kicked off with workshop style classes in sewing, cooking and digital photography. Students learnt how to take beautiful images, bake delicious desserts and sew vintage inspired handcrafted pieces and much more. A high tea was also enjoyed each week were students were able to meet and greet one another over cupcakes and coffee.
